Our Website
Welcome to our wedding website! We will be getting married on August 22nd, 2008. We are excited to be able to share this most exciting time in our lives with all of you! On this website you will be able to submit your name and address to receive a wedding announcement, read the story of our courtship, browse our registries, and get directions to and information on our wedding ceremony and ensuing receptions.
Feel free to check out our Calendar of events and to subscribe to our Google Group. Don't worry, we won't flood your inbox with e-mails—we plan to use the group only for important reminders and last minute change-of-plans announcements.
Our Wedding
We will be sealed in the Rexburg, Idaho temple.
Gordon B. Hinckley, former President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said this about temples:
"Marriage partners who come to the house of the Lord and partake of its blessings are joined not only for the period of their mortal lives but for all eternity. They are bound together under authority not only of the law of the land that joins them until death but also through the eternal priesthood of God, which binds in heaven that which is bound on earth. The couple so married has the assurance of divine revelation that their relationship and that of their children will not end with death but will continue in eternity, provided they live worthy of that blessing."
We are blessed to have the chance to be sealed for time and all eternity.

About us
I am a sophomore majoring in English; Mahon is a junior majoring in Computer IT. We met during the summer of 2007 in a Geology class at Brigham Young University—Idaho.
What is "The Best Thing?"
Wondering where our title and the quote beneath our header came from? Both are from a song by Relient K called "The Best Thing," which we feel more or less sums up our relationship. To listen to the song, go here.
